Dr. Romanowski founded the Charlotte Shoulder Institute to provide patients with the opportunity to receive comprehensive care as related to sports injuries and shoulder disorders. Associated with Novant Health Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, the Charlotte Shoulder Institute offers access to XRAY, CT Scan, MRI, and Physical Therapy. Patients have access to advanced electronic medical records and improved communication with Dr. Romanowski.
Dr. Romanowski has experience working with professional athletes from the NBA Charlotte Hornets, 2019 US Women’s Soccer World Cup Champions, MLS Soccer, Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers and NHL Stanley Cup Pittsburgh Penguins, USL Charlotte Independence, as well as NCAA Division I athletes from the University of Pittsburgh, University of Cincinnati, and local high school teams. He was selected to provide orthopedic care to the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, NC. He also provided orthopedic coverage for the 2019 ACC Basketball Tournament won by the Duke University Blue Devils. As one on the few surgeons in the United States to have fellowship training in both Shoulder/Elbow surgery and complex knee reconstruction, he offers expertise for both adolescents and adults with upper and lower extremity conditions. Most recently he was invited as a "Master Instructor" for the Arthroscopy Association of North America's International Course on Complex Multi-ligament Knee Reconstruction.
